When the thumb gets to the G, the third finger crosses over to the A and you finish the climb with the second finger on the B flat. On the left hand, start with the second finger on the B flat, cross over with the fourth finger to the D flat, then continue up the scale. Now you simply cross your third finger over and finish with the same notes and fingering that you climbed up with. Coming down from the B flat your third finger is going to hit the A flat, your second finger the G flat, and your thumb the F. The scale climb finishes with the fourth finger on the B flat. The thumb comes under again and hits the F. The thumb comes under to hit the C, then the second and third fingers hit the D flat and E flat. The fingering for the right hand begins with the second finger on the B flat. Following the B flat, you begin to walk down with the notes A flat, G flat, F, E flat, D flat, C, and back to B flat. The notes on the way up are B flat, C, D flat, E flat, F, G, A and back to B flat. Like all melodic scales, this one changes the notes as you come back down the scale. The scale that I am going to be teaching you today is the B Flat minor melodic scale. Download PDF Learn How To Play The B Flat Minor Melodic Scale On Piano!
